Ponderosa House
Ponderosa House is an Arizona-born restaurant occupying a beautifully restored 1924 farmhouse on Marshall Way in Old Town Scottsdale, from the owner behind the long-running Karsen's Grill. The concept blends American and Mexican cuisine under one roof across three distinct settings: a cozy dining room inside the historic house, a lively cantina bar with street views, and a secluded patio that feels removed from the surrounding Old Town energy. The space pays tribute to its history, with original 1920s flooring intact and a design that leans toward neighborhood warmth.

Coach House
The Coach House has thrived in Old Town Scottsdale since it opened in 1959. It’s the oldest tavern still standing in town and is owned by the founding family to this day. Back then there was just one stoplight in Scottsdale, and you probably could have ridden here on a horse (and bought him a drink as well). Nowadays, the Coach House has the feel of our very own “Cheers,” with many regulars returning here year after year, season after season, many from out of state.
