The Grand

Pizzeria Bianco - Downtown
Chris Bianco started the first Pizzeria Bianco inside the back corner of a neighborhood grocery store in Arizona in 1988. At the time, he had no clue that he would be such a driving force in the slow food movement, specifically the artisanal pizza front. After moving his pizzeria to a strip mall in 1994 as demand for space grew, he made his final journey to 623 Adams Street in 1997, where Pizzeria Bianco has proudly stood since.

Sottise is a modern French bistro tucked into a restored historic bungalow in downtown Phoenix. The restaurant combines French-country warmth with refined technique, serving small-plate classics, seafood towers, and elevated bar fare. Its wine program features around 100 carefully selected bottles, mostly French, while the cocktail menu blends old-world French spirits with inventive, globally inspired recipes. The interior evokes nostalgia with vinyl records spinning on a turntable, exposed brick, and an airy yet intimate layout, while a wraparound patio offers a charming indoor/outdoor dining experience.
